Gluten-Free Paleo Apple Crisp

A tasty and good-for-you take on the classic apple crisp recipe. This version is gluten-free and paleo-friendly, and its made with healthy ingredients that are full of flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts optional

Instructions:

Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up

Put coconut sugar, melted coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and almond flour in a bowl

Put apple slices in a baking dish

Spread the almond flour mixture out over the apples in a thin layer

You can add chopped pecans or walnuts to the almond flour mixture if you want to

For 30 to 35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are soft, bake in an oven that has already been heated

Enjoy while still warm
