Keto Bacon Tomato Guacamole
A keto-friendly twist on classic guacamole, this recipe combines creamy avocados with crispy bacon and fresh tomatoes for a delicious and satisfying dip.
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe avocados, halved, pitted, and peeled
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 2 limes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Use a fork to mash the avocados in a medium-sized bowl until they are smooth but still have some chunks
Break up the bacon and add it to the bowl with the mashed avocados
Then add the diced red onion, minced garlic, diced jalapeno, chopped cilantro, and lime juice
Mix the ingredients together slowly until they are well mixed
Add salt and pepper to taste in the guacamole
Serve right away with vegetables or chips that are good for you and are keto-friendly to dip
