Lemon Cheesecake Brownies
These Lemon Cheesecake Brownies are a delicious treat thats great for any event. They have the rich chocolate flavor of brownies and a tangy lemon cheesecake swirl.
Ingredients:
- 1 box brownie mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish
In a large bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, using water, oil, and eggs
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish
In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth
Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture onto the brownie batter
Use a knife to swirl the cream cheese into the brownie batter
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares
