Cran-Turkey Chili
Cran-Turkey Chili is a tasty new take on traditional chili. It combines the sour taste of cranberries with the hearty flavor of turkey. Great for a warm meal on a cold day
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 14
- 5 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a large pot, brown the ground turkey over medium heat
Add diced onions and minced garlic, cook until onions are translucent
Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper
Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and cranberry sauce
Stir well
Bring to a simmer and let cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally
Adjust seasoning to taste
Serve hot, garnished with toppings of your choice
