Crispy Mini Lamb Pita Bites
These Crispy Mini Lamb Pita Bites are a delightful appetizer or snack. The ground lamb is seasoned with aromatic spices and herbs, then fried to perfection for a crispy texture. Serve them with creamy tzatziki sauce for a flavorful and satisfying treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mini pita bread rounds
- Olive oil for frying
- Tzatziki sauce for serving
Instructions:
Put chopped onion, parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Add the ground lamb and mix it all together
Mix it well, then roll it into small meatballs
Set a pan on medium heat and add the olive oil
During the cooking process, turn the lamb meatballs over three or four times to make sure they are crispy and fully cooked
Take it out of the pan and let it drain on paper towels
Fold small rounds of pita bread in half and fill them with the meatballs
Served with tzatziki sauce on the side to dip
