Egg and Avocado Breakfast Stack
This Egg and Avocado Breakfast Stack is a nutritious and satisfying way to start your day. Its packed with protein from the eggs and healthy fats from the avocado, making it a perfect breakfast for photography by Con Poulos.
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 slices of whole-grain bread
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish optional
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat
While the oil is heating, slice the avocado and toast the whole-grain bread slices
Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook them to your desired doneness
You can make them sunny-side-up, over-easy, or scrambled
Season the eggs with salt and pepper as they cook
Once the eggs are cooked to your liking, remove them from the skillet
Place one slice of toasted bread on a plate, top it with half of the avocado slices, and then one of the cooked eggs
Place the second slice of toasted bread on top, followed by the remaining avocado slices, and the other cooked egg
Garnish with fresh herbs if desired
