Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Beat the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter until fluffy and light in a big bowl
Blend in the egg, followed by the pureed pumpkin and the vanilla essence
Blend until thoroughly blended
Mix the flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, baking powder, and salt in a different bowl
Mixing until just combined, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture
Add the semisweet chocolate chips and stir
Leaving space between each cookie, drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the baking sheet that has been prepared
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the cookies are set and the edges are beginning to turn golden
After taking them out of the oven, let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to finish cooling
