M&Ms Christmas Cookies for Santa

M&Ms Christmas Cookies are ideal for leaving out for Santa on Christmas Eve. The festive M&Ms and chocolate chips add a festive twist to classic chocolate chip cookies.

Ingredients:
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups M&Ms candies Christmas colors
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375F 190C

In a medium bowl, combine the flour and baking soda

Set aside

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition

Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined

Stir in the M&Ms candies and semisweet chocolate chips

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets

Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown

Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely
